Cheap Games

Monster House From £10.89

The Monster House game is based on the 2006 kids film of the same name, so you can pretty much guarantee that if your little darlings liked it that they will like this game as well.

Strangely the gameplay in this is a little bit like Resident Evil 4 and is much better than you would expect a kids game to be, albeit toned down so as not to scare them half to death!

Click here to buy the DS version for £10.89 from Forget The Rest, click here for the GameBoy Advance release, or click here to get the GameCube version – the latter two are both £10.99 each at SoftUK.

The Incredibles: Rise Of The Underminer, on both the GameCube and GameBoy Advance, is a quasi-sequel to the original film.

Mr Incredible and Frozone return to non-stop action. The game begins at the film’s conclusion – Underminer’s threatening emergence to wreak havoc on the residents of Metroville. Players battle the Underminer and his robot minions in the vast underground world built by this diabolical genius. It is up to Mr Incredible and Frozone to once again save the day. Are you super enough?

Both console versions are £6.95 each at Blah DVD.

Shrek SuperSlam, on the GameCube, is sort of like Super Smash Brothers but with Shrek characters.

This game pits the characters from the Shrek franchise against each other in the only game that combines the twisted humor and pop culture parodies of the Shrek universe with the fast-paced action of a melee fighting game. Signature fighting moves like Shrek’s "Green Storm," Donkey’s "Juggle Punt," and Puss-in-Boots’ "Love-Stun" bring variety and personality to the game. Fully destructible arenas like the Poison Apple Inn and Dragon’s Gate have walls toppling and debris flying while a multitude of weapons, potions, and magical items spell endless melee action for up to four players.

Blah DVD have this available for £6.95.

The Platinum GameCube controller is like any other GameCube controller – except this one is in platinum and is actually in stock!

You may or may not know that these can also be used on the Wii, on games that are compatible with it.

The Game Collection are selling these for £6.99.

Fancy a Gamecube?

Game have the white console, along with a copy of Mario Smash Football, priced at £29.99.

If you pop in to a Game store, you might be able to pick up a preowned Gamecube for £12.99.

There’s some decent games for the Gamecube so this is a fantastic offer.

Bargain Of The Day

Phew!

Looking at that little lot there’s many highlights – The Simpson Game on the PS2 for under twenty quid, a bunch of decently priced PSP games and some odds and sods for most other consoles.

However, the best of the lot is the 2 for £40 offer at Blockbuster stores – Assassins Creed and Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for £20 each? Yes please!

The great thing about it is that you combine the two consoles together (i.e. one PS3 game and one XBox 360 game for £40), which makes it even better!

I need a lie down now, so I’ll be back later on with some more top bargains.

Cheerio.
