E.A. must have been expecting big things for Dead Space, as not only was a comic book series created but there's also a prequel animated movie titled "Dead Space: Downfall" available as well.

All this is justified though, as the game itself is absolutely brilliant. A fantastic and gripping script, along with some genuine heart-in-the-mouth moments, makes for one of the scariest experiences you'll have this year.
