Rather annoyingly, the developers of the Guitar Hero and Rock Band series’ couldn’t manage to make the different instruments available compatible with each other – meaning you could possibly end up with two sets of everything!

The Wii’s Guitar Hero Les Paul guitar will work on any of the Guitar Hero games on the console, but not with the Rock Band titles. The price is low though, so this is ever so slightly less irritating.
