If you need any more proof that hype doesn’t always mean that something’s worthwhile, just take a look at PlayStation 3 title Haze. A huge advertising campaign is all well and good, but it would probably be an idea to make something at least halfway decent before sticking it on the shelf to buy.

It’s a first-person shooter with a serious tone, incorporating themes such as oppression and drug abuse. Mantel Global Industries have created a "nutritional supplement" that lets soldiers fight harder and smarter - you play as one of these soldiers who turns rogue and joins a group of rebels known as "The Promise Hand".
