Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit is the 16th entry in the franchise, and goes back to the series' roots – taking on the gameplay style of earlier games with exotic cars and high-speed police chases.

It makes a nice change to say that reviewers have received this well, going so far as to claim this is the best Need for Speed title ever. While this may be slight hyperbole, it's certainly one of the most exciting and challenging racing games in recent times.
