If you were curious what happened between the events of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, then Soul Calibur: Legends might be of interest. This Wii exclusive is based around Siegfried Schtauffen’s transformation into Nightmare.
There’s only seven playable characters to choose from, and no sign of any online modes either, which is a shame. Definitely not as good as the main series, but this spin-off will appeal to fans of the games.
