Buy the New Wi-Fi Kindle
The most famous book reader, the Kindle releases a brand new version on October 12 2011, a slick lighter but faster new kindle. The latest version has the same 6 inch screen but the overall length is shorter and is WiFi only. You therefore need to be in range of a wireless signal as no 3G connection is available, although it's expected Amazon will release a later model with 3G.
The new kindle is the cheapest kindle yet coming in at £89 which is good news for those who found the £100+ versions slightly out of their range. Naturally Amazon will set this price in stone, as it's their product, and authorised resellers will have to abide by this, but there are a number of other kindle stockists out there so if you prefer to pick up in a local Tesco for example, or John Lewis, that could be a better bet for you. Also there's always the possibility of a kindle stockist having a voucher code so you could even find you'll get a cheap new kindle for less than Amazon sell at.
