The hugely anticipated launch of the successor to the Nintendo Wii arrives at the end of November in the UK with the launch of 2 versions of the Nintendo Wii-U Console. The most powerful of these can be found with the Black Wii-U, also known as the 32Gb Premium Pack. The basic pack is only available in white, with 8GB of storage, and there's also a Premium Zombi U pack, which bundles the new Zombi U game.

With 2 different versions of the Wii-U being launched, many gamers will want the most powerful offering, so the premium black Wii-U with 4 times as much memory, and other extras is likely to be the most popular Wii-U console and potentially suffer from stock shortages. At this time, price cuts are very rare as retailers know any stock they hold will sell out quickly anyway, so they don't have to offer promotions to gain the highly sought after market share, especially in the run up to Christmas. When stock levels are OK the Tesco Wii-U price is expected to be amongst the cheapest as they aggressively market popular new releases and have a huge budget. As well as all the features of the White Wii-U console, the Premium Black Wii-U comes with 32GB of memory in the the main black console. The black GamePad included is the real unique feature of the new WiiU, this contains all the controllers plus has an interactive 6.2 inch screen to make for dual screen functionality. Old Wii controllers are also compatible, but Gamecube controllers aren't.
Also in the box is the High Speed HDMI Cable, the Sensor Bar, a charging Wii U GamePad Cradle, stand plus a copy of Nintendo Land.
The Premium Black Wii-U is currently available to Pre-Order from all the usual stckists, as well as supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda who often bring out special deals for new launches to try and entice customers. The benchmark price for the Black Wii-U looks to be around the £300 with no retailers yet prepared to go lower.
