I’m pretty sure that the SingStar games were designed to make people (read, men who can’t sing) look like complete idiots. Not to say that it isn’t fun, just that it makes you look rather foolish.
SingStar: Anthems contains 20 new tracks to sing along to, with hits from such artists as: Girls Aloud, Queen, Charlotte Church, Bananarama, Cher, The Pussycat Dolls, and others.

Games aimed at children are usually very simple affairs - so simple, in fact, that even someone as stupid as me can pick up and play them. And that’s saying something.
The Snow Queen Quest, on the PlayStation 2, is one of these titles. Play alone or with a friend and solve puzzles in order to get into the castle and destory the Snow Queen’s power. The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian this ain’t, but kids will enjoy it.
Asda have this game available for the bargain price of £6.93 - for more information, click here.
Ever wondered what it might be like when you’ve popped your clogs and gone to visit the big bearded one in the sky (no, I’m not talking about David Bellamy)? If it’s anything like it is in Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2, I’ll be hoping that immortality will be bestowed upon me.
Battle your way through over 40 hours of gameplay to try and get your way out the afterlife equivalent of a weekend in Blackpool. You can also use your saved data from the first Digital Devil Saga game to unlock fancy bonus stuff.
Alternatively, the Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 (Collector’s Edition) is still available for a decent price and comes with some extra goodies like a soundtrack CD and art cards.

SingStar: Bollywood, on the PS2, has many tracks to sing along to - you’re probably better off knowing that all the songs and videos are in Hindi, but this should make it even more fun!
Unfortunately this doesn’t come with the microphones that you need in order to be able to play it. Sad times.

The Simpsons Game, on the PlayStation 2, marks the first time in ages that a Simpsons title didn’t completely suck. I’d go so far as to say it’s actually QUITE GOOD!
You play as all the members of our favourite family, in levels spoofing some of the most popular games around.
Amazon have this title available for £9.96 (as long as you spend £15 or more, otherwise it’s £11.95 delivered) - for more information, click here.
The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian, on the PS2, is based on the forthcoming film of the same name.

Telly Addicts used to be a show on BBC One which was hosted by Noel Edmonds. Contestants answered questions about classic TV programmes and won money (I think!) if they gave enough correct answers.
The game has the same premise, except you don’t get real money (boo!) and Mr Edmonds looks terrifying.

In MX Vs ATV: Untamed you can either race on dirtbikes or monster trucks - the latter being my personal preference.
There’s also seven championship modes to conquer, in order to prove that you’re the king of the offroad circuit.

In 1996, the original Tomb Raider was launched. The 3D game design, controls and graphics were genuinely innovative for their time. Moreover, gamers were also presented with a unique, female human playable character with whom they could become emotionally attached, Lara Croft. The original Tomb Raider sold over seven million copies and is still hailed as a downright classic and among the finest action adventure games ever!
Inspired by the original Tomb Raider video game; Tomb Raider: Anniversary faithfully keeps the ingredients which made the original Tomb Raider game such a classic.
Using an enhanced "Tomb Raider: Legend" game engine, the graphics, technology and physics bring Lara’s adventure and quest for a mystical artefact known only as the Scion right up to today’s technology standards and offers gamers an entirely new gameplay experience.
