From the EA Casual Entertainment label, Smarty Pants at long last evens the playing field for folks of all ages, allowing simultaneous play using age-targeted trivia plus action-based gestures, making it a truly transgenerational game made (which has been designed exclusively for the Wii).

Tailoring questions to the contestant’s age, gamers from eight to eighty can join in on the fun all concurrently. Every participant’s answer is tracked, and the game automatically adjusts the difficulty level to provide uninterrupted stimulation and interactive challenges that are age suitable. I wonder if there will ever be a really decent game based on a film (I’m discounting The Godfather as it came out ages after the film did!)?

Jumper is another mediocre attempt at bridging the divide between the two mediums - to put it mildly, it stinks.

The Wii has been an amazing success since it was released a couple of years ago - in fact, I often wonder whether Nintendo even predicted it would be this popular.

The fact that you get a fairly simplistic, but decent, game thrown in for free is a fantastic bonus.

Sega Superstars Tennis lets you play tennis with various characters from the Sega universe on courts based around famous gaming arenas.

It’s quite reminiscent of Mario Tennis, but I’m not for one second insinuating that Sega copied Nintendo.
