Civilizations has long been a franchise that has been predominantly a PC-only affair for some time, so the appearance of a specially designed console version called Sid Meier’s Civilization: Revolution is a welcome one.
This is a turn-based strategy game where you take control of one civilisation from a total of 16, and lead them through from prehistory all the way up to the near future. Also, gameplay has been simplified to make it easier for newcomers to get to grips with.

Most games based on films are average, and Ratatouille is no different - I’m sure that kids will love it though. I suppose that’s the main point as well, considering that it’s based on the hit Disney Pixar movie of the same name.
This standard platformer has a similar story to the one in the film, although there is a new area not seen in it. There’s also the option to take part in a bunch of mini-games with your friends.

NFL Tour From £12.49

NFL Tour is from the same team that brought you FIFA Street, so you won’t be shocked to learn that it’s a little bit on the crap side. If you’re a fan of the sport you’ll probably get some enjoyment out of it though.
This could be considered a sequel to the NFL Street series, except that the NFL Street titles were actually half-decent. Big disappointment.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is part prequel, part sequel. This is because events run both at the same time as Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas and after that first game has concluded.
Team leader Logan Keller has been replaced by a character known as Bishop, who has more experience and is more deeply involved with the story. He can be customised before starting the campaign, and so can the person you control in the multiplayer mode - which is absolutely brilliant online.

Even though you can download new songs from the online SingStore, you can almost 100% guarantee that separate SingStar titles will still be released on the PS3 as well.
SingStar: Volume Two is, surprisingly enough, the second to appear on the next-generation console. There’s a couple of new features to be found (a new harmony duet mode and the ability to browse the SingStore via the PSP), as well as 30 more songs to sing.
Instore at Comet you can pick this up, with a couple of microphones, for £14.99. You can also get the other PlayStation 3 SingStar game (that we featured yesterday, but which has since disappeared online) for £9.99.
MotorStorm £7.99

With the sequel on the horizon (which you can get for £29.99 as part of the hot PlayStation 3 preorders we featured last month), now seems as good a time as any to pick up MotorStorm - especially at this price.
This racing game takes place at the fictional MotorStorm Festival in Monument Valley where you must win a series of off-road races to become the overall winner. Interestingly this title holds the world record for most amount of vehicles in a racing game, with a total of seven kinds available.
