MX Vs ATV: Untamed is an off-road racing game that includes a huge amont of different modes to choose from. Motocross, Opencross, Supercross, Supermoto, Endurcross, and Mini-bikes are just some of what’s on offer.
It’s quite easy to pick and play as well, which means that anyone of any age should get some amount of fun from playing. It’s just a shame that there’s no sign of any online multiplayer, but there is an offline one that at least goes some way to rectifying this oversight.

Fans of survival games like Resident Evil will be delighted to hear that they can now take the fight into outer space with Dead Space on the PS3. Even though it’s only been out for a very short amount of time, a sequel is already in production.

The creators of the MotoGP series of games are well known for their in-depth racing simulations, so it’s something of a surprise how accessible and fun Pure actually is.
Taking the helm of a quad bike, that you can customise to your heart’s content, perform ridiculous and death-defying jumps that will very probably leave your underpants a darker shade of brown.

Kung Fu Panda is based on the film of the same name, and is aimed squarely at children. Progressing through the game unlocks more characters for you to control and use in the multiplayer modes.
As with many titles that have been released recently, this comes with a fair amount of mini-games to take part in. Even more characters can be unlocked when taking part in these as well.

Clive Barker is well known for his horror novels and films, so the next obvious thing for him to do would be to write the story for a video game - with the result being Clive Barker’s Jericho.
A lost city has mysteriously reappeared in a remote desert, and has brought with it an evil that goes right back to the dawn of time. You control a Special Forces squad, trained in both conventional warfare and the arcane arts, who must hunt down and destroy it before it can destroy humanity.

Assassins Creed sees you taking the role of Altair, who is one of the feared assassins that intend to stop conflict between the two sides that make up the Third Crusade.
Although some have criticised this game for being a bit repetitive, it’s actually both visually stunning and quite difficult at times as well.

The other day we featured Grand Theft Auto IV for £19.99 - sadly Play.com have decided to raise the cost, which is incredibly annoying. Damn you Play.com and your changeable prices!
If you’ve never heard of this game before, may I ask if you’ve been living under a rock? If you have, then it’s an open-world title where you can roam about and do pretty much anything you can imagine, right down to picking up hookers from some sexytime. You can also kill them as well, which is something that many frown upon.
HMV have the PlayStation 3 version priced at £24.99 - click here for more details on this cheap games‘ availability.

Sometimes reviewers can be so overly critical of games that almost everyone gets a negative opinion of it, as is the case with Kane & Lynch: Dead Men. OK, it’s not the best thing since sliced bread - but it is a somewhat enjoyable co-operative action game.
Two men bound by circumstance as they wait on death row for their final sentence are forced to team up on a violent and chaotic journey, hating each other every step of the way. Play this before the film comes out and ruins any lingering memories that you have/had.

With the massive hype before it’s release there was a danger that Grand Theft Auto IV could have been a huge letdown. Thankfully, it’s turned out to be the best in the series and quite possibly the best game of 2008.
It’s set in a redesigned version of the fictional Liberty City, which strongly resembles modern day New York City. You play as Niko Bellic, a war veteran from Eastern Europe, who comes in search of the American Dream but quickly becomes entangled in a seedy underworld of gangs, crime, and corruption.
Click here to get the PS3 version, or click here for the XBox 360 release - both of which are £19.99 each at Play.com. There is a slight difference between these two cheap games, in that the 360 version has downloadable content coming soon (although it wouldn’t surprise me to see it appear on the PS3 at a later date).
We’ve had Lego Star Wars and Lego Indiana Jones games, and now it’s time for potentially the best idea so far - Lego Batman! Here’s hoping they can come up with more titles that have their tongue firmly planted in their cheek (X-Men would be good *hint* *hint*).
In Lego Batman: The Video Game you can fight as either heroes or villains on land, sea, and in the air using all types of different vehicles. There’s a total of 30 levels to explore (15 for the heroes, and 15 for the villains), as well as some secret levels that are unlocked as you progress.
