Cheap Games

If you’ve got an XBox 360, but no controller, then you’re a bit foolish. How did you expect to play any games?

Help is at hand though as you can get an XBox 360 Wireless Controller (Light Blue), with a matching rechargeable battery, for £19.99 from ShopTo by clicking here.

Light blue not your favourite colour? How’s about a pink one then – this deal is exactly the same as the above one, as you get a matching rechargeable battery (which normally retails for around £9.99) thrown in.

Battalion Wars 2 is the sequel to one of the best GameCube titles ever made, Battalion Wars. This mixes third-person shooting with real-time strategy to great effect.

Land, sea and air combat are brought over from the original, and an extra form has been added in the form of naval – which means you can take control of battleship, frigate submarine, dreadnought and naval transport units. Three online battle modes make for an element of fun not found in the first game.

Sendit.com are selling this Wii game for £17.49 – click here for more details.

The newly released 60GB XBox 360 is brilliant, as it gives you three times the amount of storage space than you used to get with the older Premium version. This can be used to download games from XBox 360, store music or photos, or expansion packs for titles you already own.

Game have two packs available for £199.99 each – click on the offer for more details:

It probably goes without saying that the best deal if the second one, as GTA IV is easily the best game of 2008 so far. The download packs will be appearing in December as well, so not too long to wait.

Project Gotham Racing 4 £9.93

Project Gotham Racing 4 is the fourth (surprising that) game in the Project Gotham Racing series. It’s also the second to appear on the XBox 360.

The "Skill Stick System" lets you control the puck more easily, and "Goalie Mode" lets you control your goalie with a new third person camera. Custom plays can also be created which can be tried out in practice mode before using them in a real game.

The Nintendo DS Lite is easily the best handheld on the market today, and very possibly the best ever made. It might sound like hyperbole, but the amount of decent games available for it shames most other consoles into submission.

Many different colours can be bought to match your mood or style. Actually, it’s more likely an evil ploy by Nintendo to make more money – but who can blame them?

Tesco have the black (click here), pink (click here) or white (click here) systems, whereas Amazon are selling the turquoise (click here) console – all are £89.99 each.

Remember, if you’re ordering from Tesco, to enter the voucher code Freedel at the checkout to get free delivery.
