Okami From £9.91

As far as incredibly underrated games go, Okami has to be top of the list in terms of greatness – critics acknowledge its quality and many hardcore gamers do as well, it’s just that this hasn’t really filtered through to the masses (which is a great shame).

The visual design is what catches your attention straight away, with some astoundingly beautiful graphics. Although it’s not the most difficult title you’ll ever play, it’s almost certainly the most original.

From all of the different versions available, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is easily the best. Not only does it take full advantage of the Wii’s unique controls, but it also includes all of the extra content other consoles had to offer – making this the most complete package on the market today.

The Wii Remote is able to aim and shoot anywhere on the screen, and can also be flicked to use the knife to instantly attack an enemy. The Wii Nunchuk is used to move around, which isn’t all that exciting to be honest!

Hell’s Kitchen: The Game £11.73

If the very thought of a virtual Noel Edmonds in the video game version of Deal Or No Deal leaves you in a cold sweat, just wait until you see Gordon Ramsay in Hell’s Kitchen: The Game – you won’t sleep for a week!

In it you must master all aspects of cooking, whilst getting judged by Chef Ramsay as you progress. Authentic recipes become available as you get further into it, which can even be used in the real world.

Transformers: The Game – Cybertron Edition £7.99

The success of the big-screen version of Transformers meant that a game based on it would be inevitable – and the result? The not-as-bad-as-some-would-have-you-believe Transformers: The Game.

As an XBox 360 exclusive, Transformers: The Game – Cybertron Edition comes with some additional content not found on any other consoles. There’s a couple of extra levels, a DVD about the making of the game, a comic book, and some box art to be found inside the set.

HMV are selling this title for £7.99 – click here for more details.

Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures And Kung Fu Panda Double Pack £9.99

Although I’ve heard it said that both Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and Kung Fu Panda are kids games, I have to disagree – Indiana Jones is quite challenging, in the same way that the other Lego titles have been. Kung Fu Panda is rather easy though!

Don’t be put off that the latter is based on a film either, because it’s a rare example of a tie-in that’s actually worth playing. Perhaps the makers of the Iron Man and Fantastic Four games should take notes…

FaceBreaker £9.99

If you remember Ready 2 Rumble and fancy a similar kind of boxing game, then I’d advise you to look past FaceBreaker. Although the two look alike, the latter is incredibly difficult to the point of being almost unplayable.

That being said, it’s by no means that worst game ever made – that title would probably have to go to Superman 64. What you are getting is a cartoony boxing title that should have been much better than it is.

The Bourne Conspiracy £9.14

The Bourne series of films (and books, for that matter) seem like the ideal candidate for being turned into a video game, so it’s no real surprise to see the arrival of The Bourne Conspiracy on the next-generation consoles.

You begin, like in The Bourne Identity movie, as an amnesiac found off the coast of Marseilles, but as you progress more clues as to who Jason Bourne really is are revealed. It’s a shame that there’s no kind of online mode – however, the story doesn’t lend itself too much to a multiplayer element.

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men From £5.99

Kane & Lynch: Dead Men is the tale of two men bound together as they wait on death row for their final sentence, who are forced to embark on a violent and chaotic journey – even though they cannot stand the sight of each other.

Although the storyline is decent and the action is very satisfying, it’s badly let down by being incredibly short and having somewhat shonky visuals. A sequel is on the way though, so these problems will hopefully be addressed.

Race Driver: Grid From £17.73

Race Driver: Grid pretty much came out of nowhere to impress every man and his dog with some amazing graphics and providing a fantastically fun racing experience. All the other racers on the market have some stiff competition from this game, and I have no doubts a sequel will come along and blow everyone away yet again.

43 cars can be taken through several different modes either alone or with a friend, across tracks from different countries around the world in the home console versions. The DS release, meanwhile, has 25 cars to race around 20 tracks, and also features an exclusive Track Designer which allows you to create your own circuits and billboards.

If you fancy the PlayStation 3 version, click here to buy it for £17.73 from The Hut. DS gamers can click here to get their release for £19.56 from ShopTo, and XBox 360 owners can click here to buy their version for £19.97 from PC World (selecting the Collect@Store delivery option to save on postage).

Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour From £4.98

Many people in this country have probably been lucky enough to avoid hearing about Hannah Montana, as it’s a kids show. Be thankful if you’re one of them, as the idea behind it is crackers – a girl living a double life as an Average Jane by day and a famous pop singer by night (with the only noticeable difference being hair colour).

Hannah Montana: Spotlight World Tour includes a total of 16 songs to dance to, which is done by using either the Wii Remote and Wii Nunchuk or dance pads (for the PS2 release).
