Every so often a completely bonkers game comes out that’s difficult to explain.

Beautiful Katamari is such a bloody bizarre thing that I can only say that you have to roll around picking up things – great fun it is as well.

Code Lyoko: Quest For Infinity, on the Wii, is a game based on an animated television series.

This is all well and good, except that I’ve never heard of it – probably showing signs of old age!

The book is good enough, the film is OK, but the game is absolutely awful – kids will enjoy it though (fools that they are).

Gunpey is a charming and accessible puzzle game incorporating line puzzles, Japanese cowgirls, maitre d’ penguins and techno tunes.

Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock, which comes bundled with a wireless guitar, can be bought for £29.99.
