And Then There Were None £13.99

Point and click adventure games are usually quite good. Sadly, And Then There Were None is the exception to the rule – not what you’d expect from a title based on an Agatha Christie novel.

Ten people are invited to a lavish estate on an isolated island where they are each accused of murder by their mysterious host. As the tension mounts and dark secrets are revealed, the guests start to get bumped off one-by-one…

What with "social commentators" enjoying the abuse of gamers who happen to like violent games, perhaps Condemned 2 will make them a bit happier – the basic idea is to kill serial killers. Actually, that will probably make them angrier. Great.

This sequel to one of the debut titles on the XBox 360 is not quite as good as the original, but does have quite a good online multiplayer mode. Which is nice.

Click here to buy the PS3 version for £23.99 from Movietyme – this is a US release, but will work perfectly fine on your PAL console.

Collections of different games in one bundle are always good, because if you get bored of one you have a few more to choose from. Namco Museum Remix, on the Wii, contains 14 all-time classics for you to try.

With Super Pac-Man, Dig Dug and Galaxian being a part of this you’ll probably never tire of this title. Each game takes full advantage of the Wii’s unique control scheme as well, to add an extra element of fun.

Powerplay Direct are selling this for £16.99 – click here for more details.

We’re always getting told how bad video games are for society, so I suppose titles like Bioshock and Bully: Scholarship Edition must mean we’re doomed. The very fact that a GAME could have such an effect on someone is very ridiculous anyway.

Back to Bully: Scholarship Edition – it’s essentially Grand Theft Auto set in a school. No prostitutes or guns though, instead you get schoolgirls to kiss and slingshots to fire.

Stranded on a desert island, you must help your Sims overcome the forces of nature so that they can survive and thrive whilst discovering how to get back to civilisation.

It seems to me that somebody at E.A. has been watching Lost (but thankfully not been playing Lost: The Video Game) and thought that it might work for a Sims title – and they’re right, it does!

If this game takes your fancy, click here to get the DS version for £13 from ShopTo or click here to buy the PSP release for £14.93 from Asda.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 £24.99

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 is the sequel to one of the best (in terms of multiplayer playability at least) games of recent times. This time it’s up to your team to stop Alvarez Cabrero from turning Las Vegas into a burning inferno.

This signals the end of Rainbow Six’s time in Vegas, but here’s hoping that they come back again some time in the not too distant future. Rainbow Six: Blackpool would be a good one.

Click here to get the PlayStation 3 version, or click here to buy the XBox 360 release – both of which are £24.99 each at Play.com.

Kids enjoy most stuff that has anything to do with Disney – at least, they should do anyway! Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End isn’t a great title, but it has enough to keep them entertained.

This game lets you visit brand-new locations not seen in any of the movies (this also includes bits from the first two, you see) and has a new ending as well.

Blah DVD have the PlayStation 3 version available for £12.92 – for more information on this cheap games‘ availability click here.

The Wii release of Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End is also at a great price.

There’s an ongoing Choices UK sale that’s been running for some time now (see Choices UK sale or titles added to the Choices UK sale for even more).

They’ve added some more titles, which I’ll highlight for you now!

Bully: Scholarship Edition £17.99
Spider-Man 3 £7.99

Bully: Scholarship Edition, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and TMNT: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (come on, it’s less than a quid!) are very easy to recommend from this little lot.

Just Cause £7.99

Just Cause, on the XBox 360, was ignored by many as it was presumed to be a crappy clone of Grand Theft Auto. Happily, it’s actually quite good – the similarities to the GTA series are obvious (an opn area where you can choose the order in which you complete assignments), but there’s enough on offer to be a little different.

The story sees you trying to overthrow the corrupt Government of South American state San Esperito. The have been stockpiling Weapons of Mass Desturction, and you must negate the threat this poses to world peace.

Click here to buy this title for £7.99 from The Game Collection – highly recommended, especially at this price although it’s not as good as Grand Theft Auto IV!

Haze £24.99

If you’re sick of first person shooting game, you may want to look away now – PlayStation 3 title Haze is yet another one. In what looks a little bit like some kind of drug, your character (Shane Carpenter) runs on Nectar which gives you enchanced abilities.

Your begin your fight by heading to South America to battle a vicious rebel faction, The Promise Hand. To begin with everything looks fine, but things very quickly start to appear a little strange…

To get this game for £24.99 fom Movietyme, simply click here – I should also probably point out that this is a US release, but it will work on your PAL PS3.
