King Of Clubs From £10.98

There’s not many crazy golf games around, which is a little odd when you consider the amount of straight golf titles available on various consoles. King Of Clubs fills this void in quite a good way.

With 10 courses, which each have their own resident pro, this should be a good laugh if you get some friends round to take part in the multiplayer mode.

If you’re a Wii owner, you might be interested to know that King Of Clubs is £17.99 for it.

One of the best ideas Nintendo ever came up with was Super Smash Brothers. Can you honestly think of anything better than fighting some of your favourite characters – the joy of pummeling Pikachu alone makes a purchase worthwhile.

Super Smash Brothers: Brawl is the first time the series has appeared on the Wii, and what a debut it is. With new characters (I won’t spil it by telling you who, but let’s just say cardboard boxes and sneakers are involved), new levels to fight on and the ability to battle online this is the best one yet.

This game is out in a couple of weeks, and Gameplay have it up for preorder priced at £29.99.

However, if you spend £30 or more (buy this gift wrap for 99p to take you over the limit) and enter the voucher code gugheq6xe at the checkout you get £5 off – click here then, to get this for a total of £25.98 (which I guarantee you is the cheapest price you will find anywhere).

Samurai Warriors: Katana is based on the popular Samurai Warriors series, and gives you the ability to wield your Wii Remote like a katana. Sounds like my kind of fun!

The reviews for this game haven’t been too kind – sloppy, not very good and a new low don’t exactly make it sound appealing. Still if you’ve always wanted to kill folk with swords, but didn’t want the prison time, this could be ideal.

Skate £19.96

The Tony Hawk series has been excellent over a number of years, but there’s a new game in town – Skate. With improved visuals and gameplay, this is the best skating game yet.

Instead of being restricted to smallish areas to perform tricks, you can explore the expansive San Vanelona and find the best spot to perform in. Also remember to capture some of your best stuff and upload it to show off your skills around the world.

Amazon have this XBox 360 title available for £19.96 – for more information on this cheap games‘ availability, click here.

In what’s becoming a bit of a common trait as of late, someone else has made some more price cuts.

This time there’s a handful of ShopTo reductions which may be of interest.

The Need For Speed series is notorious for being incredibly average. Need For Speed: Prostreet is much better than most of the other titles in the series, but it’s still far from being the perfect racing game.

Compete around the world to prove that you have what it takes to be the king of the road, but sadly there’s no ability to compete online. Boo!

Poker can be an expensive game if you don’t watch what you’re doing. Listen to me being the moral guardian – I actually don’t care if people spend money on poker, you only live once (or maybe twice, who knows)!

World Series Of Poker 2008: Battle For The Bracelets does exactly what it says on the tin and provides a fairly realistic game of poker. Climb your way up the ranks in your quest to win the championship bracelet.

Fancy life as an android? Well, Harvest Moon: Innocent Life sees you playing as one called "Innocent Life" (surely Albert would have been better) who learns and discovers life through a long journey.

As with every other Harvest Moon title you must meet people and interact, as well as tend to your crops and keep a farm running. Become a vrtual farmer indeed!

Although we’re only into June, it’s going to take some doing to beat Grand Theft Auto IV in any game of the year award type thingys. With a more interactive city than ever before, plus a decent online multiplayer mode, it’s easily the best of the series.

The XBox 360 version is due to have downloadable content at some point which will be exclusive to the console. It wouldn’t surprise me if the PS3 eventually sees it as well though.

DVD.co.uk are selling this title for £29.99 – click here for more details.
