Bioshock £11.99

Bioshock used to be an XBox 360 exclusive, until news reached that the PlayStation 3 would be getting its own version. The sequel is due out next year as well, which is nice.

This is a living, unique and unpredictable first person shooting experience. Please don’t confuse this with many of the other similar types of games available for the console – this one is actually very good (most of the others are average to poor).

Marty McFly was the lucky one when he wen back in time – he didn’t have to go back and plant an experimental probe that ends up changing the world, unlike Colonel Michael Swift in the video game Timeshift.

You control the unlucky bugger, whose intimate knowledge of the true time stream has made him an enemy of the state, and must keep on the run and set time straight once again.

Wii tennis games always end up being a great deal of fun, mainly down to the fact that the Wii Remote lets you feel as though you’re really playing. Almost.

Sega Superstars Tennis lets you play as and against some of your favourite Sega characters, on courts designed around famous levels from different Sega games. The music might ring a bell or two as well!

Woolworths are selling this title for £9.97 – click here for more details.

Wii Deals

Anyone who has been holding off from getting a Wii may want to consider getting one now – the range of decent Wii deals available at the moment is impressive, to say the least.

If you happen to have an Asda Living store nearby (they’re the ones that don’t have any food in them), then you can get the console (with Wii Sports and a Wii Remote) for £150.

Toys R Us are also running a good offer where you get the system package, along with a copy of Mario Kart Wii, for £179.99.

There’s still some Wii bundles at Game as well, many of which contain very good games.

There’s a Blockbuster sale on at the moment – yes, yet another sale. Great.

If you’ve never played any of the Guitar Hero games, I can’t stress highly enough that you should buy at least one of them (and a guitar to go with it) as soon as possible. Really great stuff.

Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock (with a wireless guitar) is the latest game to appear on the PlayStation 2, and it’s very probably the best one yet. Loads of decent songs to play along to on this one.

Game are selling this for £29.99, which is an excellent price – however we can get it even lower than this as there’s a £3 off when you spend £30 voucher floating about.

Click here to add the game to your basket and add this wrapping to go over the £30 threshold – this will bring the total price down to £27.98. The voucher code is ID734TJAW, by the way.

One final point is that any PlayStation 3, Wii or XBox 360 owners interested in this title should look at the earlier post about Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock (ignore the PS2 bit obviously).

Cars is a Pixar film which means that kids automatically love it – they’re so easy to please (not!). Cars: Mater-National is based on the movie, and sees you racing as characters from it across five different competitions.

Nintendo love developers to include tons of mini-games, so you won’t be surprised to learn that this is full of them. There’s over 20 in fact.
