MySims

If you’ve ever wanted to run your own town but don’t have the funds, personality or knowledge then MySims will let you fulfill your dream.

You take over the running of a town that has been struggling and, with some creativity and help from the locals, make it thrive. Discover what your people need and give it to them - sounds simple enough, but it ain’t!

Click here to get this DS title for £9.96 (if you’re spending £15 or more, otherwise it’s £11.95 delivered) from Amazon - one of those cheap games that’s worth adding to your collection.

SingStar: Bollywood

SingStar: Bollywood, on the PS2, has many tracks to sing along to - you’re probably better off knowing that all the songs and videos are in Hindi, but this should make it even more fun!

Unfortunately this doesn’t come with the microphones that you need in order to be able to play it. Sad times.

To get this title for £9.96 (as long as you spend £15 or more, otherwise it’s £11.95 delivered) from Amazon, simply click here.

Avatar: The Legend Of Aang - The Burning Earth

If you were left to defend an entire city against a bunch of evil baddies, would you accept the challenge? Well, in Avatar: The Legend Of Aang - The Burning Earth you have to do just that.

Defeat the Fire Nation and bring some sort of peace to your homeland.

The Lord Of The Rings: The Battle For Middle-Earth II

The Lord Of The Rings: The Battle For Middle-Earth II is the very first Lord Of The Rings strategy game to appear on any console. It allows you to control hundreds of units and engage in intense, action-packed battles.

It also combines elements from both the big-screen films and the classic novels to present the ultimate in Lord Of The Rings action.

CD-WOW are selling this XBox 360 title for £7.99 - click here for more details.

Timeshift

After agreeing (for some stupid reason) to go back in time and plant a probe, you return to find yourself the number one enemy in the eyes of the state.

It’s your duty to correct the time line whilst keeping yourself alive at the same time.

Click here to buy the XBox 360 version of Timeshift for £9.99 from The Game Collection.

The Simpsons Game

The Simpsons Game, on the PlayStation 2, marks the first time in ages that a Simpsons title didn’t completely suck. I’d go so far as to say it’s actually QUITE GOOD!

You play as all the members of our favourite family, in levels spoofing some of the most popular games around.

Amazon have this title available for £9.96 (as long as you spend £15 or more, otherwise it’s £11.95 delivered) - for more information, click here.

Army Of Two

It’s quite unusual that a game is designed specifically for two players, but Army Of Two is exactly that. You could always play with the console, but it’s rather terrible!

Interestingly, you can also take on other teams around the world via the online multiplayer mode.

NBA 2K8 is another one of those cheap games available on the PS3

NBA 2K8 is probably the best looking basketball game you’ll have ever seen - the players have been completely redone to improve the likeness and overall graphical quality.

This game also has the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, where you compete against three other players (either in your home or online) to see who the greatest dunker really is.

If you fancy this PlayStation 3 title, click here to buy it for £26.06 from Amazon.

Iron Man

As soon as you see the words "based on the hit movie" run a mile - more often than not the game is a big steaming pile of turd.

Sadly Iron Man is no different. It looks like the makers really couldn’t be bothered and just wanted to get something on the shelf in time for the film’s release.

Worms: A Space Oddity

Worms: A Space Oddity is the very first Worms game to appear on the Wii, and to mark the occasion it’s been completely rebuilt to take advantage of the Wii Remote.

There’s the usual classic Worms matches and, as it’s a Wii title, a whole host of mini-games.

Play.com are selling this game for £17.99 - click here for more details.
