The Need For Speed series is notorious for being incredibly average. Need For Speed: Prostreet is much better than most of the other titles in the series, but it’s still far from being the perfect racing game.
Compete around the world to prove that you have what it takes to be the king of the road, but sadly there’s no ability to compete online. Boo!

Poker can be an expensive game if you don’t watch what you’re doing. Listen to me being the moral guardian - I actually don’t care if people spend money on poker, you only live once (or maybe twice, who knows)!
World Series Of Poker 2008: Battle For The Bracelets does exactly what it says on the tin and provides a fairly realistic game of poker. Climb your way up the ranks in your quest to win the championship bracelet.

As with every other Harvest Moon title you must meet people and interact, as well as tend to your crops and keep a farm running. Become a vrtual farmer indeed!

Although we’re only into June, it’s going to take some doing to beat Grand Theft Auto IV in any game of the year award type thingys. With a more interactive city than ever before, plus a decent online multiplayer mode, it’s easily the best of the series.
The XBox 360 version is due to have downloadable content at some point which will be exclusive to the console. It wouldn’t surprise me if the PS3 eventually sees it as well though.
DVD.co.uk are selling this title for £29.99 - click here for more details.

As Bee Movie was written by and stars Jerry Seinfeld you’d be quite right to expect that it’s rather funny - even though it is aimed at kids. Sadly, Bee Movie Game is quite terrible.
Kids may enjoy this as it’s not too difficult, but older players will quite rightly find the game annoying and slow. The search for the perfect movie tie-in continues…

There’s a fair few games that try to be like the Grand Theft Auto series (e.g. Just Cause), and Saints Row is yet another to add to the pile. It’s an open-world game where you can pretty much do what you like, all the while listening to a pumping soundtrack.
It has got an alright online multiplayer mode I suppose, although if you’ve got Grand Theft Auto IV I doubt it would be any more exciting than it is - it’s also one of those cheap games you might like to get if you’re interested in achievement points.
I will say, however, that the price is excellent - click here to buy this XBox 360 game for £9.95 from The Game Collection.
