Supreme Commander £4.99

Originally appearing on the PC, Supreme Commander is a real-time strategy game from the team behind the brilliant Dungeon Siege, and the very promising-looking Demigod.

Using a giant bipedal mech called an Armoured Command Unit to build a base, you upgrade units in order to reach higher technology tiers and conquer opponents. Commanding one of three nations (the Aeon Illuminate, the Cybran Nation, or the United Earth Federation), it’s your job to reign victorious either offline or against other players around the world via XBox Live.

Scooby-Doo!: First Frights £16.73

Interestingly, well to me anyway, it appears as though many of the Scooby-Doo games actually use laughter tracks – something which seems like quite a good idea on paper (but in practice might very well become incredibly irritating after a while).

Scooby-Doo!: First Frights uses this too, so when you’re solving puzzles, combating enemies and collecting clues before unmasking a mysterious villain, try not to get annoyed!

The Hut are selling this Wii title for £16.73 – click here for more details.

Disaster: Day Of Crisis £11.73

Disaster: Day Of Crisis is an action/adventure game, where you must survive through various natural disasters, whilst battling terrorists and rescuing civilians as you go. This hasn’t been released in the U.S. yet, as Nintendo are waiting to see how it does sales-wise – I’m not sure about the UK, but I know that it hasn’t done too well in Japan.

It’s actually a bit like a summer blockbuster movie in some respects, as it’s huge fun and has some intentionally cheesy dialogue. A great storyline, along with a high level of interactivity, make this one of the most underrated titles on the Wii.

Secret Files: Tunguska From £7.93

When Nina Kalenkov’s father disappears without a trace, she must venture across the world with her boyfriend Max to follow his kidnappers – discovering along the way that more than one person’s life is at stake…

Secret Files: Tunguska may be very difficult, and at times incredibly stupid, but it’s certainly nowhere near as bad as some critics would have you believe. If anything, it’s one of the most challenging games you’ll play for some time to come.

Diabolik: The Original Sin From £4.89

Diabolik: The Original Sin is a third-person adventure game based on the Italian comic book Diabolik, which follows the antics of a fictional anti-hero. Although perhaps not the most famous from the genre, this has also been turned into a Mario Bava film and a Fox Kids series.

Getting back to the game though, it sees you trying to rescue Diabolik’s beloved Eva in a graphic novel noir world that mixes 3D real-time graphics and bi-dimensional black and white comic style animations – there’s also a few mini-games included for if/when you get bored.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days £17.73

Set between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II, DS exclusive Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days aims to show what happened to the main character (Roxas) in the intervening time. Wayne Allwine, who provided the voice for Mickey Mouse for over 30 years, sadly died not too long after this was completed – the game is dedicated to his memory…

Minimal use of the touch screen functionality is made by this, instead relying on the tried and tested action role-playing style of previous entries in the series. Up to three friends can join in the fun as well, and this multiplayer mode is mission-based instead of the single-player campaign.

The Hut have this available for £17.73 – for more information, click here.

Guitar Hero: On Tour – Decades (With Guitar Grip) £7.99

As good as the DS incarnation of Guitar Hero: On Tour is, the strumming detection is a little bit off – thankfully, this has been improved upon in the sequel Guitar Hero: On Tour – Decades.

There’s also a much better career mode, where you can play either lead or rhythm guitar, and you can now also play against other rockers via the wireless network – this also allows you to play tunes from Guitar Hero: On Tour, which is a nice addition.

If you fancy Guitar Hero: On Tour – Decades, with the Guitar Grip, click here to buy it for £7.99 from HMV.

Crash Of The Titans £8.93

Crash Of The Titans centres on the discovery of a substance known as "Mojo", which Doctor Neo Cortex plans to use to turn the inhabitants of the Wumpa Islands into an army of loyal mutants known as "Titans". As well as an exciting single player campaign, a friend can join in via two co-op modes – "Leapfrog" sees you swap control each time you jump, swing or slide, while "Piggyback" sees each player get a backpack which can be hidden in.

Kameo: Elements Of Power £4.99

Although it’s been out for nearly four years, Kameo: Elements Of Power is still very much a game worth adding to your collection. Great graphics, even now, and some gripping battles make this an action fighter that will keep you coming back for more.

The plot is quite straightforward – you must capture, harness and unleash a wide assortment of monsters to rescue three Elemental Ancestors and destroy the Dark Troll King who threatens the planet and its wildlife (see what I mean?!?)…
