With all these different guitar and band-based games available, it makes you wonder what's next – except that we now have the answer, with the release of DJ Hero. I'm still waiting for Banjo Hero, Ukulele Hero and/or Sitar Hero…
Anyway, Rock Band: The Beatles is the latest offering from the team behind the original Rock Band. This includes some of the best songs the band ever made, plus you also get to see virtual versions of all four guys as you play along – all you drummers out there can now prove that you're better than Ringo (not hard, I know).
Click here to buy the Wii version of the Rock Band: The Beatles – Limited Edition Premium Bundle, which contains the game and a full special band kit, for £89.95 from ShopTo. PlayStation 3 owners can click here to buy their release for the same price from the same retailer. Definitely one of those cheap games that fans old and young will enjoy a great deal.
Band Hero is a spin-off from the Guitar Hero series, and is structured similarly to Guitar Hero 5 with the drop-in/drop-out and in-song instrument and difficulty change menus, plus additional new multiplayer modes. As this has been designed for a more mainstream audience, the songs are from more family-friendly artists (although Poison make an appearance with "Every Rose Has Its Thorn").
The Band Hero: Band Kit comes with everything you need to get started, plus a copy of the game itself. Contained inside the box is a guitar controller, a drum kit, and a microphone – all you'll want now is two friends/family members who agree to embarrass themselves!
If you fancy the PlayStation 2 version, click here to buy it for £119.99 from Play.com. PlayStation 3 (click here) and XBox 360 (click here) owners can buy their releases for £120 from Tesco.

The PSP version of LittleBigPlanet is the portable counterpart to the PlayStation 3 game of the same name, and is every bit as good as its console cousin – pretty much everything is available in both, right down to the Stephen Fry narration parts.
Sadly the multiplayer feature has not made the transition across, but the creation an sharing of levels is still available. Graphics are very good as well, which helps to make this one of the must-have titles on the handheld system.
If you fancy this game, click here to buy it for £12.99 from HMV.
If you're a fan of the Star Wars films (and who isn't?), then Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga should be right up your street. It's the first video game that allows you to play through all six of the Star Wars movies.
With over 160 different characters, revamped attacks, new special moves, new power-ups and redesigned levels, this is the ultimate in Star Wars gaming – all with a very tongue-in-cheek Lego twist.

While it's all well and good to shell out for games, it's always nice when you can get more than one for your money – which makes this XBox 360 Wireless Entertainment pack, which contains Lego Batman: The Video Game, Pure and an XBox 360 wireless controller, well worth taking a look at.
The two included titles are pretty darn good, although if I had to pick between them I would plump for Lego Batman: The Video Game. There's more to do in it than Pure, plus once you've completed the single player campaign you can tackle the same levels again with a friend.
Zavvi are selling this for £23.95 – click here for more details.

Every year means new updates of all your favourite sports games, with the most eagerly anticipated being FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer. FIFA 10 has the head start, but to be honest Konami will have to pull something fantastic out of the bag to beat this – it's better than ever (and FIFA 09 was brilliant).
As well as full roster and kit updates, the manager mode has been improved greatly – an authentic transfer system and other features making it a heck of a lot more enjoyable than previous outings. 50 stadiums can be played in now as well, plus the "Virtual Pro" mode expands upon "Be A Pro" from FIFA 09.
To get the PlayStation 2 release for £14.99 from Amazon, simply click here. Wii owners can click here to get their version for £22.85 from ShopTo, whilst both the XBox 360 (click here) and PlayStation 3 (click here) releases are £22.99 each over at Tesco.
Though there are plenty of World War II games on the market, not too many deal with the flight battles that took place. IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds Of Prey does, and does it very well – with historically accurate aircraft included too, for some extra added realism.
Over 50 different missions from famous historical battles over Eastern and Western Europe are available to take part in, and intense multiplayer dogfights mean this should take quite some time to master.
Click here to buy the DS release for £16.85 from ShopTo, or click here to buy the XBox 360 version for £17.99 from Play.com.

NBA 2K10 is the latest in the long-running basketball series, with a range of new features introduced in order to celebrate its tenth anniversary – which in itself is quite the accomplishment, especially when you consider that E.A. Sports had a bit of a head start with their NBA Live titles.
There's actually so many new introductions that it would take me ages to list them all, but the highlights have to be the easy-to-use dribbling and post game controls, new signature plays, the "My Player" mode (similar to "Be A Pro in FIFA) and an improved create-a-player mode.
Click here to get this XBox 360 title for £19.95 from ShopTo. Remember to use the ShopTo £1 voucher in order to get an extra saving on this too…
