Cranium: Kabookii From £8.96

Since the Wii’s release, we’ve been inundated with all sorts of titles that feature mini-games or have borrowed elements from board games.

Cranium: Kabookii falls into the last bracket, as it’s based on the board game Cranium where you compete against three other players in 15 different puzzles. Older gamers may prefer to be intoxicated somewhat before playing.

Click here to buy this title for £8.96 (as long as you spend £15 or more, otherwise it’s £10.95 delivered) from Amazon.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Double Agent sees you operating as a double agent (bet you never guessed that), working for both the NSA and terrorists in order to protect the innocent.

The very idea that Sam Fisher would even contemplate becoming a terrorist is very hard to imagine, but it is a game after all!

If you’re in the market for a couple of PlayStation 3 controllers, look no further than the SIXAXIS Wireless Controller Twin Pack that’s currently on offer.

Whilst these don’t have the rumble feedback feature (that one’s coming to the UK soon), they work perfectly well. No wires is nice as well.

Tetris is an absolute classic in the world of puzzle games. When it was first released people when mad for it – in fact, it’s still very popular even now!

Monster Bomber is basically the same, but instead of coloured blocks you have monsters. There’s also the ability to take on up to three of your friends from the same cartridge.

SoftUK are selling this DS game for £9.95 – click here for more details.

Crash: Tag Team Racing From £8.99

Crash: Tag Team Racing is very similar to the Mario Kart games, except instead of Mario characters you have Crash characters instead (obviously). One of those cheap games that’s good fun it is as well.

Interestingly, you can fuse two cars together on the fly by crashing into another player – this turns your vehicle into a super vehicle equipped with a massive gun!

Click here to pick up the XBox (yes, the original XBox!) version for £8.99 or click here for the PSP release, which is £9.99 – both from SoftUK.

Lost is a very good TV show and hopes were high that it would also translate into a very good video game. Sadly, that was not to be the case. It’s simply too short, and too easy as well.

That said, if you’re a fan you’ll definitely get some enjoyment out of it – it just won’t last that long!

Instore at Comet you can pick up either the PlayStation 3 or XBox 360 version for £9.99 each.

If you’re looking for a decent motorbike racing game, you probably shouldn’t look any further than MotoGP 07. Yes, it’s a little out-of-date, but the online multiplayer mode is brilliant.

I should point out that the price of this game will be going up on Monday the 2nd of June, so snap it up before time runs out!

Click here to buy this XBox 360 title for £8.93 from The Hut.

The XBox 360 Elite Console is the best XBox 360 you can get, at least in terms of storage size. This comes with a 120GB hard drive, so I doubt you’d run out of space any time soon.

But if you’re getting a console, it’s always nice to get a game or two with it.

Comet have a great deal on at the moment, where you get this system plus copies of Project Gotham Racing 4 and Stuntman: Ignition for £249.99 – for more information, click here.

Yes, I realise that the XBox 360 version is just a few posts below this one – any kind of saving has to be good though, right?

When a title has such a decent online multiplayer mode it’s worth about a billion posts, if I’m being honest. Luckily, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 has one of the best around.

Click here to buy the PS3 release or click here for the XBox 360 version, both of which are £23 each at Zavvi.
