Shaun White Skateboarding £17.99

Shaun White Skateboarding sees the Shaun White series of games move from the snow to the streets – mainly because, for those who don't know, the real man himself holds the unique distinction of being a professional snowboarder AND skateboarder (brave guy).

Initial reviews of this haven't been all that great, but fans of the sport will definitely find lots to love – especially if you've had any enjoyment from the Skate or Tony Hawk titles.

Zavvi have the Wii version available for £17.99 – for more information, click here. PlayStation 3 (click here) and XBox 360 (click here) owners can also get their releases for the same price from the same retailer.

Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2 £14.99

Building on many of the good points of the original, Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. 2 is an arcade-style flight action game which is much more interesting and realistic than the last one was – though there are still one or two problems, mainly with poor-ish graphics and a kind of pointless "Arcade" mode.

Those two niggles aside, there are certainly worse ways to spend your time, especially if you enjoyed Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. Fans of flight in general will more than likely get tons out of this too.

Wii Sports Resort (with Wii MotionPlus) £22.85

Although Wii Sports is bundled with every Wii console, it's actually a very good game in its own right – which makes the arrival of a sequel, in the shape of Wii Sports Resort, absolutely no surprise at all. I'm just surprised it took so long to come out!

A total of 12 different activities are represented, with golf, bowling and boxing making repeat appearances from the original. Of the new sports, canoeing and basketball are perhaps the most fun – though the others are great too, especially in multiplayer.

Dead Rising 2: Zombrex Edition £32.85

Dead Rising 2 is the sequel to the excellent Dead Rising (surprisingly enough), and sees you take on the role of Chuck Greene as he fends off hordes of zombies while accomplishing specific missions – in a very similar way to the original, to be honest.

Inside the Dead Rising 2: Zombrex Edition you'll find a copy of the game, along with a special "making of" DVD and a syringe pen – all of which is contained within a steelbook case.

Click here to buy the PlayStation 3 version, or click here to buy the XBox 360 release – both of which are £32.85 at ShopTo.

Halo: Reach – Limited Collector’s Edition £40.97

Not only is first-person shooter Halo: Reach probably the best entry in the series so far, but it will more than likely also be the best-selling game of 2010 as well – unless Call of Duty: Black Ops brings something spectacular out of the box.

The Halo: Reach – Limited Collector's Edition set comes with a copy of the game along with some very nice goodies. These include a custom case modeled after a recovered ONI data module, custom in-game Elite armour, an artifact bag containing the personal notes and documents of the creator of the SPARTAN program, Dr. Catherine Halsey's ONI security badge and an embroidered Spartan II patch.

XBox 360 4GB Console £135.99

For a time the entry level XBox 360 system cam with a rather pathetic 256MB memory card, so it's good to see this has been improved somewhat with the newer XBox 360 4GB Console – though a bit more space would have been handy for downloads, etc.

It's worth noting that this shares the same design as the bigger 250GB console, so it's a lot quieter than before and also comes with a built-in wireless connection – plus it's ready to use with Kinect too.

Amazon have this available for £135.99 – for more information, click here. For a limited time you also get an HDMI cable and copies of Crackdown 2 and Forza Motorsport 3 thrown in for nothing extra.

MAG £11.49

It's probably best to point out straight away that MAG is an online-only game – so if you don't have an Internet connection, it's basically unplayable (although if you're reading this, I'm presuming that this is something not really worth pointing out!).

256 players take to the battlefield to win glory in a world of online warfare on an unprecedented scale, across three different factions in a number of roles. Some technical awkwardness exists, but believe me when I say that this is something not to be missed…

For the first time in Super Smash Brothers history, Super Smash Brothers: Brawl lets you not only fight with Nintendo characters but with some third-party characters as well. I won't spoil it by telling you who's included – what I will say is that a certain bloke with a fascination for boxes and guns is one of them…

Like its predecessors the object of the game is to knock an opponent off the screen, and, in a departure from other fighting titles, has a simplified control scheme which makes it easy for anyone to play. The single-player mode has been expanded, and you can now also compete with other fighters across the globe via the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior £16.99

Sniper: Ghost Warrior is a first-person shooter which places special emphasis on the military sniper, as you play as part of an elite team sent into a hostile area to help rebels fight against the force that have taken over their recently toppled Government in the region.

While initial impressions looked promising, it's fair to say this is certainly nowhere near as good as other games in the genre – though the difficulty challenge alone should prove tempting for some gamers.

Metroid: Other M £24.99

Taking place between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion, Metroid: Other M follows bounty hunter Samus Aran as she investigates a derelict space station with a Galactic Federation platoon – which includes her former commanding officer, Adam Malkovich.

Though maybe not quite as good as the Metroid Prime series, this is without question one of the best action-adventure games on the Wii. Fans of the other ten Metroid games shouldn't feel as though this is just for them either, because it's a lot more accessible to newcomers than you'd expect.
